Register as a Reseller
PCD (Plaster Creosote Dissolver) is a compound that when mixed with water is designed to remove dangerous 3rd stage [degree] glazed creosote from clay or pumice flue liners, stainless steel flue liners, and masonry smoke chambers. PCD breaks down the creosote making it possible for it to be removed by conventional brushes or rotary cleaning. PCD typically requires 24 to 48 hours to complete it process in the flue and smoke chamber and dry before it can be cleaned. PCD is typically used in extreme cases when conventional sweeping will not remove the glazed creosote and in rare case may require more than one coat.
